Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern all commercial engagements between Hindustan Stone Supplier and its clients, including stone purchases, sample requests, custom project sourcing, and export arrangements. By submitting an enquiry, placing an order, or making payment, you confirm full acceptance of these terms.

If acting on behalf of a company, architectural firm, or contractor, you confirm authority to bind that entity.

Products & Orders

Hindustan Stone Supplier offers natural stones including marble, granite, sandstone, slate, limestone, and quartzite sourced directly from Indian quarries. All products are natural materials and subject to availability at time of order confirmation.

• Stone is a natural product — each slab, tile, or block is unique. Colour, veining, texture, and tonality will vary between pieces and from catalogue photographs
• Natural variations are not defects and do not constitute grounds for rejection
• Orders are confirmed in writing only upon receipt of agreed advance payment
• Samples are provided subject to availability; sample colour may differ from bulk lot
• Minimum order quantities (MOQ) apply to certain stone varieties and custom cuts

Pricing

All prices quoted are indicative and subject to change based on quarry availability, season, and raw material market rates. Final confirmed prices are valid only as stated in the written quotation.

• Quotation prices are valid for 15 days from date of issue
• GST is applicable on all domestic sales at the applicable rate
• Transportation, loading, and handling charges are additional unless specifically included in the quotation
• Export pricing is subject to current FCL/LCL freight rates and may vary by destination

Payment Terms

Standard payment terms for stone orders are 50% advance at order confirmation and 50% before dispatch from our yard. Payment terms may vary for regular trade clients as agreed in writing.

• Accepted payment: NEFT, RTGS, UPI, bank transfer, and account payee cheque
• Orders without confirmed payment are held for a maximum of 7 days
• Export orders: 100% advance or as per LC (Letter of Credit) terms agreed with buyer
• Cash payments are not accepted for orders exceeding ₹10,000 (per Indian income tax regulations)

Quality & Grading

All stone is graded and inspected before dispatch. Hindustan Stone Supplier supplies goods as per the grade specified in the confirmed order. The following grading standards apply:

• Premium/First Grade: Minimal natural blemishes, consistent colour, polished finish
• Commercial Grade: Natural variations permitted; suitable for flooring, construction, and landscaping
• Export Grade: Compliant with destination country specifications; tested per ASTM or EN standards upon request

Natural features such as fossils, crystal pockets, iron inclusions, and colour bands are inherent characteristics of natural stone and enhance its authenticity — they are not defects.

Delivery

Delivery timelines are estimates based on stock availability, processing requirements, and transport conditions. Hindustan Stone Supplier is not liable for delays beyond our control.

• Risk of damage or loss passes to buyer upon handover of goods to the transporter at our yard
• Door delivery is available for large orders within serviceable areas at applicable freight rates
• Stone is packed to industry standards; claims for transit damage must be raised with the transporter
• Export orders are shipped CIF, FOB, or EXW as agreed in the export contract

Returns & Claims

Due to the natural characteristics of stone, returns are accepted only in cases of confirmed grade non-conformance or significant defects. The following claims procedure applies:

• Claims must be raised within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence
• Stone must not be cut, installed, or processed before raising a claim
• Confirmed non-conforming goods will be replaced or credited — no cash refunds
• Claims raised after 48 hours or after installation will not be entertained
• Shade and colour variation claims are not accepted as these are natural characteristics

Custom Projects & Heritage Work

For custom stone projects, heritage restoration work, and bespoke sourcing, the following additional terms apply:

• Custom cut and profiled stone orders are non-cancellable once cutting has commenced
• Heritage restoration stone matching is subject to quarry availability of matching lots
• Hindustan Stone Supplier provides quarry certificates and origin documentation for export and heritage projects upon request
• Custom projects require a detailed scope agreement including dimensions, finish, and delivery schedule

Limitation of Liability

Hindustan Stone Supplier's liability is limited to the value of the specific goods in question. We are not liable for consequential losses including project delays, installation costs, architectural fees, or business losses arising from stone supply issues.

Buyers are advised to obtain independent expert assessment for critical structural, load-bearing, or heritage applications before specifying natural stone.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Indian law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution before initiating formal proceedings.
